Wall Painting workshop  with children of Fuldanga village conducted by Baidyanath Murmu

As part of the Negotiating Routes: Ecologies Of the Byways project supported by Khoj International artists organisation as part of the second phase of Coomunity based art activities in Fuldanga Baidyanath and myself we conducted a drawing workshop with chidren of Fuldanga about their immediate environment

 Baidyanath initiated the workshop by painting a wall mural referring to the different steps of making paper from bamboo leaves.After the initial drawing workshop the children were invited to paint the walls of the workshop space to transform those initial paper drawings into a painted mural.The intention was to draw a map of the village of Fuldanga through the memories of children to locate the changing images of village life in Fuldanga..
